What Is The Best Defiant Leveling Guide?

Leveling your character in any MMORPG can be very time consuming!  One thing I always try and do when I pick up a new MMO such as Rift is find some sort of leveling guide.  These leveling guides cut out all the garbage quests in the game that just take up too much time.

I also play for endgame content and like to get to level 50 as fast as possible.  I have looked through every Defiant leveling guide on the market including these following guides:

  • KF’s Defiant Leveling guide
  • Xerxes Rift Mastery Defiant Leveling Guide
  • Rift Blueprint
  • Killer Guides

Right off the bat I can tell you when it comes to Defiant leveling guides; stay CLEAR from Rift Blueprint and Killer Guides.  These “guides” are pretty much just handbooks on the game.  They have summarized general info about the game Rift and offer zero, zilch, nodda, absolutely NO leveling guides what so ever.

So that narrows down our choices when it comes to finding the best Defiant Leveling Guide to KF’s Guides and Xerxes Guides.

An obvious thing to say here is, “you get what you paid for”. KF’s Defiant Leveling Guide is $10 cheaper but it definitely shows.  The main issue I have with KF’s Guide is that they simply follow the quest path of the game.  They don’t save you much time at all!

Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide on the other hand has a VERY well designed quest path.  There is no true way to tell if ALL the garbage quests are left in the dust but I can for sure say I saw a drastic difference in my leveling time while using Xerxes Defiant Leveling guide.

Another GREAT thing about Xerxes Guides – they offer both a Defiant Leveling Guide AND Guardian Leveling Guide.  So for 10$ more you have both sides covered!  Now I know we are just looking for the best Defiant leveling guide but I have to mention that Xerxes Rift Mastery Guide is not just a leveling guide.

They offer:

  • Full Dungeon Guides
  • Warfront Guides
  • Souls (Builds) Guides for each Calling
  • Overview guide discussing game play and how to set up your U.I.

Honestly, I was shocked when I got my hands on this one.

These guides aren’t just fluff either – they actually cover a lot about what you need to know to leveling through Rift and dominate endgame content.

Getting back to Xerxes Rift Defiant Leveling guide you can expect a leveling time of just over 2 days played.  If you play hard enough like I did you can level to 50 in just on a week but you have to follow the guide to a tee!

The guide is a step-by-step process explaining any details along the way that are required.  A lot of times you would find yourself looking for a kill target or item but rest assured with Xerxes Defiant Leveling Guide you will be notified in detail what you’re looking for.

To add to the ease of use factor the guide is full of screenshots to help you along the way.  Between their direction tips and a full-blown picture of what to look for you can’t go wrong.

The only real complaint I have about their Defiant Leveling guide and all their guides is that they are in ZIP format.  I know I am just lazy but it’s an extra step to download the guide, unzip it, find the PDF, load it up, and then print it!  I know, it’s actually not that bad – I am just trying to find something bad to talk about Xerxes Defiant Leveling Guide.

Overall if you are looking for an amazing Defiant Leveling Guide, Xerxes guide is the one for you.  You will fly through the levels and be level 50 in no time.

Why Should You Use A Defiant Leveling Guide

Defiant Leveling Collectors ReviewYou might be wondering why you should use a Defiant leveling guide as the Rift has their built in leveling aide. Well, like any other major MMORPG’s there is what’s called filler quests, which take up more time to somewhat slow you down. The main reasons the game developers do this is to give the user the option to experience more game content but at the same time rake in more subscription revenue.

It’s win-win for both parties, unless you are trying to reach end game content where the real fun begins.

With a defiant leveling guide you cut out the “crap”.  Now using a defiant leveling guide isn’t for everyone!  If you enjoy leveling at a snails pace and are taking in the lore and game content there is really no need for a leveling guide. However, if you are like me and love progression and PVP then you will want to reach level cap (50) is quick as possible.

IF that is your case then you will definitely want a defiant leveling guide to speed you through leveling.

Now the question becomes, what defiant leveling guide should I use, as there are so many out there.  Well that is where I come in! I’ve tried KF’s Defiant leveling guide, Xerxes Defiant leveling guide, Killer guides, and even tried Rift Blueprint’s leveling guide (the one they lied about as they don’t offer a leveling guide!). I am not going to go into detail about why, but of those guides…

I used Xerxes guide to level my Rogue to 50 in 2 Days and 18 Hours played.  The main reason was not just their defiant leveling guide but also the other guides that came with it such as the Rogue builds guide.  I knew what to put my points into as I leveled and how to play a rogue from the ground up.

You have to understand, when leveling in any MMO, knowing where to quest and how to quest is only half the battle.  If you don’t understand how to play your character, dying, and slow grinding for kill quests will slow you down immensely.  That is why Xerxes Defiant Leveling Guide is so good. Their questing path is amazing paired with their knowledge of each Class.

Again I will not go into detail right now, and for those a paid guide is not always an option.  So I still plan on releasing an intro Defiant leveling guide when I get a chance to whip one up.

Defiant Leveling Guide Launch

Defiant Leveling GuideWelcome to my Defiant Leveling Guide website, I’m Randy and I decided I would try and help my fellow Rift Online players by giving you killer tips and showing you a solid 1 through 50 leveling guide for the Defiants (not the old garage band The Defiants).

Couple things you should note about me:

  • First I have a level 50 Defiant side Rogue which I run as a Marks soul
  • I have played MMORPG’s for over 8 years
  • I love PVP
  • I do not role-play!

An Intro Defiant Leveling Guide

I plan to write an intro Defiant Leveling Guide over the next week to get the basics of a small level range for you.  I myself personally used Xerxes Defiant Leveling Guide when the game first launched and I will be showing a behind the scenes look at their Defiant Leveling Guide as well.

You can expect to get a lot of helpful tips here on the Defiant leveling guide website as I found out a lot of stuff out the hard way.  What can you expect playing right from the beginning of a game launch?  I hope you don’t have to make those same mistakes.

The tips will always be flowing and free obviously.  Those I can update on a weekly basis as I discover certain content myself. The tips will also not strictly be about leveling but rather all game content.

So what exactly is this intro Defiant Leveling Guide?

Well, it will be of the first 10 to 20 levels of leveling. The intro Defiant Leveling Guide will be free and probably written in PDF format. Since it’s free I am not going to spend time jazzing it up but rather just text directions in a nicely presented manner.

I will not cover leveling souls or builds for that matter as I again time is of the essence here and I decided to make the Defiant Leveling Guide site to give you guys some direction on how to zip through leveling in Rift.  If there was zero guides available on the market then I probably would consider creating a full myself however, the 2 that I have seen definitely get the trick done.
